FAQ

What are hours of operation?  Currently, traditional working hours for Livie Loo's include early mornings, late nights, and during {occasional} naps.  While my husband is deployed, this work schedule is what works best for my family.  To stay up to date on any changes to hours of operation/vacation breaks, make sure you're following @livieloos on Instagram.  

What is LL's processing time?  Although almost all orders ship prior to this time frame, Livie Loo's processing time is approximately 7-10 business days.  For all made-to-order items, this processing time stands firm.  For ready to ship items, you can expect your items to ship out next day.  If your order consists of both RTS and made-to-order items, your order will be shipped once all items are made {7-10 day average}.

What is LL's current shipping time?  All orders ship USPS, first class mail, with tracking.  Once shipped, you'll receive tracking information in your inbox (sent to the email address you provide at checkout).  Average USPS shipping times depend on location and time of year.  Most of the time, you can expect your item in 2-5 business days.  This is an average based on previous orders.  Please note, once items are shipped, they are at the hands of USPS.  I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

I'm having trouble tracking my package, what should I do?  Please allow 24-48 hours for any tracking information to update.  Occasionally, packages will miss origin scans.  If you have a question or concern regarding a package, please email me with your order number and date of purchase.  

Is everything handmade?  Yes! Everything in my shop is handmade, with love, by my own two hands.  Whether it be a headband, hair bow, or simply putting your packages together, everything is done by me, myself, and I.  

What does RTS mean?  Items marked "RTS" mean they are ready to ship.  All ready to ship items can not be modified.  RTS items are FINAL SALE

I'm stumped on which size to order, what should I do?  If you're unsure about which size to order, after consulting LL's size chart, simply email me {jennifer@livieloos.com}.  All emails regarding size should have size inquiry in the subject line.  

Can I request a custom piece?  Absolutely.  I LOVE custom requests.  If fabric/materials are available, I will try my best to create something special according to what you have in mind.

Are all of your fabrics the same?  No, all fabrics used to create my accessories are not the same.  In an effort to bring you the best variety, in terms of colors and prints, there is a slight variation from fabric to fabric.  A full list of fabric content for each headband will be provided in the description section of each listing.

What are your hardware options?  Currently, customers have 3 hardware options to decide from; single prong alligator clip, double prong alligator clip, or OS nude elastic. Single prong alligator clips are approximately 1 3/4" long and great for tiny babes with thin hair.  Double prong alligator clips are ideal for older children and/or children with thicker hair.  OS nude elastics are a "one-size-fits-most" nylon elastic.  This elastic allows your purchases to grow with your babe!  From newborn to adult, these fit girls of all ages.

What are the care instructions for fabric headbands? Are they washable?  Absolutely.  Headbands get dirty.  I encourage you to keep them clean!  To keep them from shrinking or fading/bleeding, i recommend hand washing and laying them flat to dry.

What kind of clips are used for bowtique bows?  Boutique bows are made with nickel-free 1-3/4", single prong, alligator clips.  Unless otherwise noted, clips are adhered to be worn on the right side.  If you'd prefer clips to be french barrettes or have them facing the opposite direct please contact Livie Loo's prior to your purchase {changes will be made based on availability of materials}.  

Are your materials safe for children?  Safety is a #1 concern when selling any type of product.  Extreme care is taken when assmebling each and every item for my shop.  Every product is made with high-quality, non-toxic, materials.

What is LL's return policy?

If you're unhappy with a purchase a full refund, in the form of store credit for the order amount {minus shipping charges}, can be issued to the buyer within 14 days of receiving the order.  After 14 days, the order is no longer eligible to be returned to the sender.  All items must arrive back to Livie Loo's {at the cost of the buyer} in original, unworn, condition.  Returned items may not be washed, worn, show stains, pet hair, and/or have any odor (food, body, pet, smoke, etc.).

 What is LL's exchange policy?  Due to the handmade one-of-a-kind nature of these products, exchanges will not be issued at this time

What does FINAL SALE mean?  Items marked as FINAL SALE are not eligible for return.  Most of the time, these items are heavily discounted or discontinued.  When purchasing FINAL SALE items, you acknowledge the nature of the sale and understand that these items can not be returned or exchanged.  Please note, all RTS items are FINAL SALE.

How does the rewards program work?  I feel as though it's important to reward repeat buyers.  By signing up for a rewards account, you'll accumulate points, on every purchase, and will be rewarded with discounts/promotions accordingly.  For every $1 spent the buyer will receive 5 rewards points.  Once the buyer reaches 250 points, they'll receive an exclusive discount to use towards a future purchase.

Does LL currently sell wholesale?  I'm always looking for new wholesale accounts to work with.  Wholesale buyers agree to selling all items, unchanged, with official Livie Loo's packaging.  If interested in selling wholesale, please send an email to jennifer@livieloos.com with the subject line wholesale inquiry.  Line sheets available upon request.  Serious inquiries only.
